Circuit Class

Circuit training is a very time-efficient way to improve both aerobic fitness,muscular strength and endurance in healthy adults. The term circuit simply refers to a number of selected exercises arranged consecutively. The number of exercises in a circuit varies, but is traditionally comprised of 10 to 12 stations.Each participant moves from one circuit station to the next with little (10 - 30seconds) or no rest, circuitexercises are performed for a 10 second to 3-minute work period.The number of exercises and the work-to-rest ratio will vary dependent upon the training goals of the circuit.The circuit stations might consist of Resistance Machines, Free-Weight exercises, Step exercises, Cardio Machines, Resistance Bandexercises, Swiss Ball exercises,Callisthenics (body weight exercises)or a combination of any of the above.
